During the week of the fourth, I had the opportunity to spend some time with family in Hampton. We always love traveling to see them because we get to go to the beach- oh and we love them a lot too. This trip was different as we spent more time beach hopping. The first beach we went to was Buckroe Beach. It was not super crowded and I love that their facilities are clean. The next beach we explored was Huntington Park in Newport News. This was a smaller beach but the kids still had fun romping in the water and finding seashells.
On my last two nights in the area, my cousin decided to take us out to enjoy Hampton nightlife. My favorite stop for the night was at Six restaurant. The food and drinks were excellent. The service was just as great. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items We enjoyed some great conversation with her.
This was my first time enjoying downtown Hampton nightlife. My cousin did a great job showing us around. I’m definitely looking forward to more family trips like this in the future.
