If you are like the countless number of women that are blessed with a healthy sex drive and wish that their cycle would just disappear forever so that there is never any reason why you cannot enjoy bountiful sex, I may have a solution for you.

There is a product on the market that I have been told will allow you to enjoy life as you like it without the disruption of menstrual flow.  I am not kidding.  So, let me tell you how I found out about this.  I’m at work chatting it up with my coworker.  Our conversations often are totally inappropriate for a workplace setting, but we obviously did not care.  On this one day, we happen to get on the topic of sex.  I told her how bummed I was that my cycle was on and how I couldn’t get any.  Then she proceeds to tell me that in the 10 years that she and her husband have been married he has never known when she is on her cycle.  I was totally in shock.  What do you mean he has no idea?!  She then goes on to tell me about this product that she learned about it from her athlete friends during her high school years.  So, this is how it works.  The product is inserted into the vagina, collects flow, and allows you to enjoy all of your favorite activities.

I could not believe that I had never heard of this.  Between my inquisitive nature to find out solutions to problems and that I am a health educator, I was shocked that I had never stumbled upon this product.  Either way, I was too excited to find the product and try it out for myself.  It is called Softcup (a product that’s been on the market for 18 years).  I was able to find the product pretty easily at CVS in the same aisle with feminine products.  All these years, and I had never noticed it. Wow!

So, basically you wear the cup internally for up to 12 hours.  It collects menstrual flow during that time.  In addition to the benefit of being able to enjoy your favorite activities, you get an added benefit of not dealing with pads and being concerned about menstrual odor.

Well, I am sad to report that I have not figured out how to get the product to work for me yet.  But I have not given up hope.  In one of their videos, it was mentioned that it may take some time to figure out how to get a perfect fit.  Anyway, check it out for yourself.  They offer a free sample of the product on their site.  A box of 14 is about $10-$12.
