Can You Stand The Rain?

I have so many women (people in general) who come to me for coaching to figure out how to get through hard times and stress. We all need a little help every now and then. And if you haven’t had any hard times, I salute you.

One thing that always happens is, we ask why,

Why me?

Why is this happening to me?

And most of all, we want to know the purpose in the entire situation. So on top of worrying over the situation itself, we are plaguing ourselves with questions about why this is even happening in the first place.

What makes it worse is that there is no definitive answer to any of it. There is no one right answer. You kind of have to go through in order to understand the situation and gain clarity, and by the time you do that, you are exhausted, mentally and maybe physically.

Who has all of the answers?

The truth is, you have a lot of the answers. But sometimes it’s hard to see the answers because we have layers of stress piled on top of our shoulders. It makes it difficult to see clearly in order to make a good decision.

What we don’t realize is that our mindset is important. But how do you think positively when the bills are due and you have more bills than you have money? Or how do you see the glass half full when you have to be in three places at once and there is only one of you and never enough of your time to go around?

It’s going to be way easier said than done, but you have to be aware of your mindset. Start by operating in gratitude. Storms don’t last forever, even though it feels at the moment like it will. When you see life through a lens of gratitude, it makes it more difficult to complain and only see the downside of your situation. You will see a way out of the storm easier.

Take a look at the video and see what resonates with you.

How do you weather the storms of life?
